Sun Devil Mock Trial is a student organization at Arizona State University. With SDMT, students gain unparalleled, hands-on experience in trial advocacy, public speaking, critical thinking, and live performance through simulated criminal and civil trials. Each year, students in SDMT are given a pattern of facts and law for a criminal or civil case, and prepare arguments for the Plaintiff and Defense of those facts. Sun Devil Mock Trial competes in experiences like no-other against top colleges and universities across the country, giving students a deep understanding of trial advocacy and complex legal issues.
