On November 8th and 9th, 2025, we’d like to invite you to be a juror for our invitational tournament, Sundown Showdown VI. Not only will this be an opportunity to watch rounds of mock trial, but you’ll actually get a chance to decide who wins and loses a ballot! Being a juror requires no preparation. Being a juror means watching and deciding on a verdict for a mock trial. Sundown Showdown features 4 rounds total with 2 rounds on each day, and you can choose to attend whichever round fits your schedule best (or sign up for all of them)!
As a juror, you will choose the verdict for the round. This means you will decide if the defendant is liable or not liable. The team that wins the verdict given by you and your peers will win a ballot, just like the judges in the round will fill out.
By being a juror, you help Sun Devil Mock Trial run one of the most successful competitions in the country. At the same time, it provides you the valuable opportunity of seeing how American trials work. Sundown Showdown cannot succeed without jurors from all walks of life, and that is why we ask you to be a juror for Sundown Showdown VI.
